Just wondering if anyone has every tried whitening their teeth.

What did you use, how much did it cost and did it work?

I'm wondering if its worth a try

A few years back I went to the dentist and got the moulds made of my teeth.
They then make trays to put the bleach in.
You supposed to sleep with the trays in.
The trays really bothered me and I definitely couldn't sleep with them in. I did put them in during the day.
My teeth did get whiter but I couldn't be bothered anymore more.
I also think the strong bleach eroded away the enamel on my teeth as my teeth got very sensitive after that.
Not sure of price - maybe $500 - $600 ?

I subscribe to the Gov Recall email list and lately heaps of teeth whitening products have been recalled.

  Same here.

And I would worry about the surface being eroded on any of my teeth.

I've never had it done but I really would steer clear of doing so. Some of the whitening toothpaste have granules in them that act like a sander and erode the enamel - a huge no no.

oh wow - was certainly not looking to spend hundreds of dollars on something so silly.  Was more thinking about products that you can buy in the supermarket or chemist.  I don't think its worth it if it damages your teeth.

Here's a link to some of the Do it yourself teeth whitening kits that have been recalled and the reasons why they were recalled.

My cousin did the same thing as Ange and her teeth did look whiter but I never thought it was worth the money.
