Homescan is recruiting they send you a scanner you scan your weekly shop and earn points. Redeem these points for  gifts and vouchers from there Gift Catalogue.

I have been a member for a couple of years they also send you something nice at Christmas you earn bonus points on birthdays and every year you are with them.

How do you go about scanning all the fruit, vege, bread etc that you get at the markets Kim ?
And id it worth the time and effort ?

I have been with them for 3 or 4 years
i can think of 3 christmas presents so must be up to year number 4
In case you want to know what presents i got. One year i got a first aid kit very useful in the car.
Another was a calculator that had lots of different functions. Last year was a thermos.
Have claimed a number of vouchers and i saved up and got an electric blanket for myself.
My scanner even died once and they had to send a replacement.
Although sometimes it takes ages to scan i dont mind doing it.

Ange you get a book with bar codes too so if there is no code on what you buy you just scan from the book its easy enough I think and I have heaps of shopping but the kids help out. We usually get vodafone vouchers for the kids and have also got maglite with our reward points.  :smile:

My daughter loves to play shops so scans all the groceries, bonus for me, she packs them all away too! It is a little time consuming, but popular in my house 10 year old is our scanner but the other kids also would love to have a go and jump to it if 10 year old is elsewhere

I got an invitation through WDYT and partly filled it out til I got to the part about your phone and what kind it is.  Mine is modular I think,  anyway it said so they know what phone part to send you.
I was just wondering what the phone has to do with it, ie do you send your scans by phone 
I'm sure I won't get picked anyway, as I bet they're after people with kids at home

The phone is for your internet connection they log on to the scanner once a week to get your data Sonya  :smile:

your scanner has its own modem that dials up a free number once a week and uploads all the stuff you have scanned.
I have had my scanner replaced once a cord once and now i need them to give me a new cord again stupid thing not charging
