http://au.testandvote.com/inscription.php?Becoming a member lets you take part in surveys, in product testing, accumulate points and perhaps win cash prizes in our monthly draw. You gain points by being an active user. You can then convert your points into vouchers or lottery tickets.

I just looked at the site and Test and Vote is now Toluna and there are other vouchers you can redeem for apart from hmv. CD Wow is one. Also there are short surveys on the site that you can do for 15 points each. Only UK residents can sign up for the product tests http://www.toluna.com/help#S8Q1Product tests Q: Who can sign up for the product tests? A: Currently, only UK residents can sign up for product tests.

I'm giving it a go, have got my points up from 1845 to 5420 by filling out the available profile surveys, and if you do them all you get an extra 2000 points

I emailed them Sonya, about testing products and claiming rewards, and as long as you go to the site I linked to, all the options will be available for Aussies.
I'm up to 20,700 and get surveys all the time, but I hadn't been doing them because I didn't think Aussies could claim yet, now I've found out I was just going to the wrong site.

I just did a survey from them, then looked at the site and checked my points. I haven't been there for ages but it looks like points expire. I lost 1500 points in one month and 350 points the previous month. I have to admit I haven't logged in, in ages and my points are less than 9000, and you need 600000 points to redeem for anything.
Oh but it looks like members in Australia might be eligible for product trials now
"Can I take part in product-tests if I live in a country without a Test&Vote site i.e United States? If you want to take part in Product Tests, you must live in one of the countries where Test&Vote has a website (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Swiss, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Czech Republic, Australia)"

Same here Kerrie re the points expiring. I had just decided to cancel my account when i checked the product trials FAQ and I'd decided if they still weren't available for Australia I would cancel my account. I probably won't do any long surveys and just have a go for the product trials

This must be the worst market research site around. I get heaps of emails from them for surveys. For a lot of them you answer heaps of questions only you find you don't qualify and get absolutely nothing for the time you have spent - not that their rewards are worth having anyway. I think I'll ignore their surveys in the future as it is not worth the effort. I won't resign though as I would love to get one of the products to test though I gather the chances of that are pretty slim. Ciao was nearly as bad before they joined Toluna. Same thing you answered heaps of questions and then found you didn't qualify and even if you did their payments were really lousy. I did manage to redeem $17 though before they joined Toluna.

I agree re:ciao. I only just made enough to redeem for $5 the month before they became toluna I applied and they sent me a message saying that they didnt process it because they werepart way through changing groups and to keep doing the surveys for toluna so I could redeem for rewards..............it would take me another 5 years or so before I could even redeem for the minimum thing considering I'd get nearly half way through the survey then be told I didnt qualify

Awww I'm sorry you didn't get your reward grrrr. Years ago Ciao was quite good, I got quite a few $5 Paypals. Then I started noticing that I wasn't getting the points for most of the surveys I did.

Toluna has now introduced a Pay Pal reward. You need 60,000 points to get $20. Really pissed off that I converted all my points to the prize draw because their other rewards are so hopeless.
