I just got an invitation to attend a focus group, and be paid $60.
Sadly its too far away from me, Baulkham Hills.

I just received this email:
We are recruiting for focus groups being held next week in Bella Vista, NSW. The incentive for these focus groups will be $50.00 each.
GROUP A Date: Monday 10 March, 2008
Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
GROUP B Date: Tuesday 11 March, 2008
Time: 10:00am - 11:30am
GROUP C Date: Tuesday 11 March, 2008
Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
So if anyone is around there and you're interested, check your emails or log into the site. :wink:

Finally a focus group in this area, $70 for 1.5 hours. I applied, the form only asked for full name, contact number & email, which went to a page saying: "Sorry to hear you can't help out for this particular research project. Keep on the look-out for more opportunities to attend focus groups in the near future"  Just seems weird, because it seems like the form thinks I chose "not available"  Unless I got screened out just by putting my name in? |

I sent them an email and a reply was here when I got home. It was an error on the site and they'll contact the people chosen soon. Really impressed with how fast they answer their emails With some you never get a reply |

Has anyone won anything from doing their surveys? All their focus groups seem to be in Sydney and unfortunately I live in Melboutne. I did get a call yesterday from another focus group recruiting company and I will be receiving some cat food for my cat to try. I will have to fill out a diary and then someone is coming to my home to interview on the 2nd Feb for which I will receive $100. A good site to find focus group recruiters is http://www.australianfreepaidsurveys.com/paid_surveysI get quite a lot of emails but rarely qualify. Only did two focus groups last year. |

I got an email asking if I was still interested and i replied yes The venue is just a couple of blocks from here and food and drink is provided and I've never been part of a focus group before. No I've never won anything from doing their surveys but I haven't done many so far. |
